Hooverwood, a leader in senior care for over a century, has an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Administrator to help advance the organizations strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of success providing leadership, direction and general administration of all facility operations, programs, and services driving service and care excellence, financial stability and employee engagement/retention The Administrator directs all services and programs in order to provide efficient quality of services and care to all Residents within budgetary guidelines. Provides administrative direction to the clinical/operational areas of infection control, quality assurance, safety/risk management, care plan meetings, interdisciplinary case discussions, etc.Provides Staff support at Executive Committee Board and Committee meetings Also represents Hooverwood on local Jewish Federation Board as well as Hospital/Post-Acute meetings. Prepares and presents reports as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and Board President.
Attends construction & renovation meetings and communicates all changes/matters to the management team. Participates in the design, budget, staffing, marketing, and opening of the assisted living building.
Institutes policies and procedures to fulfill the requirements of licensing and regulatory agencies and supervises the overall implementation of these policies and procedures.
Assists in the preparation of the annual operational budget. Controls departmental budgets within established guidelines.
Assures employee-related issues are handled in accordance with fair and equitable policies including performance evaluations, progressive disciplinary action, suspensions/terminations, employee recognition events
Assures all policies and procedures are current and maintained for all departments, in conjunction with Department Heads. Assures ongoing compliance with Indiana State Department of Health and CMS regulations, including preparation for annual surveys, completes ISDH plan of correction, reports and investigates ISDH unusual occurrences per reportable definitions.
